Change font colors on your KODI menu bar.
Something very easy to do and makes an immediate change to your KODI device is to change and play around with the font colours on the menu and sub menu. This can be done on any build on Any device with any menu. So here is how to Change font colors on your KODI menu bar.
You will of course need a skin that supports customising menu items. This guide is done using the Aeon Nox 5 Silvo Mod. This method will also work with the standard Aeon Nox 5 and other modded versions of the skin. You can use colour names to change the colours Red, Blue, Green but with this method but you can also use hex values as this allows us access to more colours and change to look to specifically whatever you want.
The main menu items are the biggest and boldest so will make the biggest change, it is still the same process and it is as follows.
- Select SYSTEM
- Select Appearance
- Select Skin
- Select Settings
- Select Home Window
- Select Setup the Aeon Nox Main Menu Now you can select any menu item.
- Select Edit label
- Delete anything that is in the text entry field We now need to decide on what colour we are going to use. Most people would use Red, Orange, Blue etc but using markup we can enter hex values so you can use any colour you want. For this we will use the HTML Color Picker from W3Schools.
Select roughly what colour you would like to use for the main menu entry. Lets use red.
After selecting red I can then choose a different shade by clicking on one of the listed items in the Shades section. You know need to take a note of the selected colour. In this example it is #ff0000
Now we have the chosen colour we need to add this colour to the main menu iten using markup which is done like so:
Name of Menu Item
You can also use a colour name like so to Change font colors on your KODI menu bar.
Name of Menu Item
But with our method of using hex values we can get creative and use a more varied selection of colours.
We require 8 characters in the hex value e.g. #ff0000 this will need to be added each time you add a colour to your menu items.
Done – You now know how to Change font colors on your KODI menu bar.
