  1. I completely understand getting frustrated at this fight, as it was the first part of the game that made me use healing items. That said, I also did all available PQ missions in between the story missions so I was a much higher level. I never did them multiple times, but doing those and going through the Masters really helped level up, to the point that I was near the level cap by the time I was fighting the end game. I'm still enjoying this series, and I still like this game.

  2. I'm just putting this out there since they keep talking about how their gear is an issue. I never even looked at what my gear did to my stats, and i managed to get through the story pretty fast. Admittedly i didn't really pay attention to my level, so i was probably higher than i needed to be. But this is mostly just for me to say don't worry about the gear. If it looks cool and you like it, wear it. Fuck the mechanics. That's how i do it XD (Inadvertently)
Like a good 50% of the fun in this game is wearing DBZ clothing and being able to change the colors or simply seeing your own character in them. if you worry about stats, i feel it dampens the enjoyment to a pretty significant degree ( :

  3. I've done this mission funnily enough it was easier with my female majin who is my second character than my male Saiyan who is my first this is because I made both for different playstyles, the problem with Puddin is that she will likely end up like a "Balanced" character, which only makes the game harder for them

  4. i rekt feezer and cooler in the quest with no problem,i admit i was overleveled,i wa around 30-40 around that time, but i didn't grind,i was just doing PQ-s,once every mission and did all the teachers, and was before the last advancement test ….still it's strange to see them struggle :P

  5. They REALLY need to learn how to play a game BEFORE they record/stream, otherwise they're just plain garbage and disappointing. The lack of attention to controls, combinations, etc. makes this an eyesore.

  6. It's almost like when you go into something horribly leveled and with horrible stat placement, you don't do so well.

Shocker, isn't it? Not to mention that if you actually do each parallel quest and deal with the instructors, you should be fine. No need to grind anything.

  7. And yet again, having problems with simple missions due to treating an RPG/fighting game like a fighting game with slight RPG elements means the game is "bad" and bosses are "cheap."

But, obviously, completely bypassing new mechanics that make battles simple and trying to just button-mash your way through the game is working wonders thus far. Poor Puddin, she shares the curse of her father, stuck in a game not meant for her combat style at all…

  8. The problem is youre not doing enough PQs and side things. I did too many and the story was stupidly easy for me. But if you keep a good balance you shouldnt have this much trouble with it.

  9. BLOCK! it hurts to see the guys get out of a combo to immediately get hit, BECAUSE THEY DON'T BLOCK. To quote hajime no ippo, "you've got to break his momentum… if you can't gain your momentum you're sure to lose…".

  10. To all you lovely commenters out there, I'm going to give you some advice. For the future…

Try not to recommend anything to TFS, alright? When people tried getting them to use Tien's Z-Soul, they refused, specifically because people asked them to. Thus, the absolute LAST thing you want to do here is recommend what you want to happen, because that ensures it won't.

I'm not going to fault them for making their own decisions; I'm just along for the ride.
