In the build up to Sonic Mania, Did You Know Gaming takes a look at some of the secrets, history and Easter eggs of Sonic Heroes! Sonic Heroes was developed by Sonic Team USA and published by Sega for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 (PS2), Xbox and PC. It shares similarities with the Sonic Adventure games, but gives players control of three characters at once and a selection of four teams. The game was well received, and sold around six million units total. Through our analysis of Sonic Heroes gameplay and its beta, we expose some of the game’s most interesting facts.

  1. So, that's why they didn't want to call Sonic Heroes, "Sonic Adventure 3" ?
My first Sonic game Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Gamecube….went back and played Sonic Adventure DX when it came out?
They could have made a lot more by calling it SA3, then releasing Sonic Adventure 1 and 2: DX for PS2/XBOX……but hey still love the games anyway!

  2. I still remember going through the manual, reading Eggman's bio and laughing. Glad to see it was included here. Eggman's a romanticist and a feminist, and that's canon.

(It was probably a translation error if I had to guess, as it also gave Sonic an incorrect age, but who cares?)
